SELF BASED, MECHANICALLY ASSISTED SPACESAVER

Our innovative engineering team have reacted to public demand and created a mechanically assisted drive system to suit our range of self based mobile shelving units - Spacesavers.

The system operates via a steering wheel which is mounted on a console attached to each mobile trolley.

The console contains a sprocket & chain drive unit which engages with a lateral chain fitted to the base of the Spacesaver.

It results in a smooth positive drive requiring virtually no maintenance and giving a mechanical advantage to the operator thereby greatly reducing the effort required to move each trolley.

The system is factory fitted to new units or can be retro-fitted to existing Davell units as well as most other brands.
